Broadcasting TV Amplifier DPA6W
Product Description
DPA6W is a professional LDMOS broadcasting TV power amplifier operating in the UHF band (47…862MHz), with a maximum power output Pout = 6 Watt (DVB-T). Its central microprocessor is responsible for the optimal function and control of the unit. It incorporates overdrive and VSWR protection circuits as well as visual indications of normal operation, input overdrive and high rates of reflected power at the output. Its solid metal structure guarantees full electromagnetic shielding from external interference. It is a sturdy and highly reliable unit with a built-in power supply operating on a mains voltage of 220 VAC.

DPA6W PROTECTION CIRCUITS
1. The output of the DPA6W power amplifier is continuously monitored by the central microprocessor and in case of overdrive, the relevant led blinks. If there is an input overdrive, the power supply is cut and the led stays on permanently. This circuit does not define the exact overdrive limits of the power amplifier in accordance with the intermodulation products.

2. DPA6W incorporates a VSWR protection circuit which turns off the power supply of the unit when it detects at the output, and the relevant visual indication turns on.

3.DPA6W uses Smart Cooling technology for efficient, long-life cooling. With Smart Cooling technology, the fan’s RPM is adjusted in accordance with the amplifier’s temperature. In case of overheating or cooler malfunction, the amplifier’s power supply is cut off.
